Nine year old Simon has a make-believe lion as his constant
companion. In reality he is bullied at school by Alex,
his senior by two years. One day Simon's mother meets
a new man, who seems to offer a new hope for Simon. Everything
changes when it turns out that his mother's new man is
the father of Alex, and that the plan is for them all
to live together.
A suspense thriller, dealing with emotions young people
meet in everyday life. The script for this film was developed
during six months in a workshop with six young talented
scriptwriters and completed by Niklas Rådström.
The film is the first feature film directed by Manne Lindwall
(born 1975). Lejontämjaren. Sweden 2003. Directed
by Manne Lindwall.
