The weekend is finished and all children with divorced
parents pack their bags. Julia and Martin, both eleven
years old, are tired of constantly travelling between
their respective parents. When they meet at the airport
they decide to take the opportunity of a lifetime. They
exchange identity and destinations. Behind this comedy
drama there is a provocative story questioning gender
stereotypes. The set up for this film is borrowed from
a Norwegian short film called "In Transit",
but the idea has been extensively developed by director
Ella Lemhagen (born 1965),acclaimed director of "Tsatsiki,
Mum and the Policeman (1999). Tur & retur. Sweden
2003.
