Three Swedish feature films for children and families will be screened on 14 and 15 October at the British Film Institute. Swedish cinema for children and families is leading the way in addressing important contemporary issues within the framework of original and entertaining storytelling, as such they are quite different from mainstream family films. A family workshop will take place on Saturday 14 October. This will give children and parents the opportunity to think critically about films and engage in active viewing.

Tickets for the film screenings and family workshop can be booked at the National Film Theatre box office by calling 020 7928 3232 or online at www.bfi.org.uk/nft.
