Book: A Dice Missing
Target age group: 12 - 15
In 2003, Johanna Thydell was awarded the prestigious

The novel has been translated into eight languages and
is currently being made into a film.
A Dice Missing is a book about Puck, a sixteen
year-old girl who will do anything she can not to lose
control, not let anyone come too close, not show who
she really is. It addresses what it is like to be scared
of angry voices, scared that people may disappear. It
is a story about deceit and anger, but also about friendship,
love and atonement.
